1 Step

With your non-padded bra on, use a tape measure (yes, we know this might be a hassle, but trust us, it’s worth it!) to measure firmly around your ribcage, directly underneath your breasts. The tape measure should be in inches, horizontal around your body and should not drop in the back.

This is your underbust or band measurement.

Now, these numbers together may give you a different size than what you’re used to - especially if you’ve been wearing American-made bras your whole life. Not only are most women wearing the wrong size bra, but switching to true global sizing from American sizing will often give you a dramatically different result when you have a big bust.

Remember, your recommended bra size is a great starting point to finding bras that will fit you perfectly. The best size for you may vary based on the bra brand, style or other factors.
